Zip Away in Leyte: Agas-Agas, Matalom

Getting there: Take the bus from Tacloban City bound to Maasin, Leyte via Matalom. Inform the driver or conductor that you're getting off at Agas-agas Bridge. Leave before 9AM, it's a 3-hour trip but may also depend on the pick up of passengers along the way. You definitely won't miss the bridge, it's the highest and the view is breathtaking. Note: You can also take a van from Tacloban City to Maasin but make sure to ask the driver of its route, some vans take a different way without passing Matalom.
Getting back: Make sure to leave before 4PM, less vans or buses travel back to Tacloban after 4PM.
Fare: Fair enough or rather cheap.
Tips: Bring some snacks, the trip might take longer than expected.
Bring extra cash because ATM machines are not readily available.
